Clothing for your Wintergreen trip

We’ll make certain you’re warm & comfortable on your Wintergreen trip and you don’t need to spend a bundle to do that. Because we design and make our own gear through Wintergreen Northern Wear(
www.WintergreenNorthernWear.com),  you can rent or purchase at our guest discount whatever you may need (in both adult & kids sizes). The "Trip Kit" packet our guests receive includes our catalog and provides tips on clothing items you may already have which will work well for your trip. We encourage you to bring along anything you’ve got so that when you check-in, our guides can review what you’ve brought to help determine if you need to supplement it with rental gear. Last season, about half our guests needed some rental gear and their average expense was about $65. Some opted for the complete rental package ($115).

We’re the experts on winter clothing and comfort. You’ll learn a lot on your trip about how to enjoy the snow season. The key to winter comfort is layering with the 3 "w’s": a "wicking" layer against your skin to keep you dry, a "warmth" layer for insulation, and an outer "wind" layer for the elements.

Here’s a brief summary of the clothing needed and the rental and purchase options through Wintergreen. Just let us know if you’d like us to email you the complete clothing options and rental gear outline that our guests receive in their "Trip Kit":
