Svalbard

April 28-May 9:  We're off to the high Arctic to enjoy another dogsled trek across Norway's Svalbard Islands with 6 Wintergreeners and 10 Canadian college students. 

With soaring mountains, ice caps, glaciers and lots of Arctic wildlife, Svalbard is a ponderously beautiful place.  Paul & Sue Schurke will stay on through May 20 for a road trip across mainland Norway with the parents of their son Peter's Norwegian girlfriend.
