Guides Dave and Amy Freeman are returning to Wintergreen following the completion of the first leg of their 12,000-mile, 2-year expedition across North America by canoe, kayak & dogsled.

Guides Dave and Amy Freeman are returning to Wintergreen following the completion of the first leg of their 12,000-mile, 2-year expedition across North America by canoe, kayak & dogsled. 

Their 2,300-mile paddle this past summer took them from the Pacific Northwest to the top of the Yukon and then along the historic Voyageurs canoe route to reach their home in Grand Marais, MN.  Their paddle will continue next summer through the Great Lakes and down the eastern seaboard.
